
Australia’s High Commissioner Neil Hawkins gave Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif a courtesy call in Islamabad.
In their conversation, the prime minister stated that Australia and Pakistan have amicable and friendly relations.
He expressed pleasure with the existing status of bilateral relations and stated that Australia-Pakistan collaboration in the fields of mining, agriculture, and livestock is something Pakistan is eager to expand.
In order to exchange knowledge and best practices with their Pakistani counterparts, he also extended an invitation to Australian businesses and specialists.
The Australian side’s wish to further its relations with Pakistan was reiterated by the High Commissioner.
