Shopkeeper said that the rush of people has increased in Rustam Bazar Wana but due to high inflation, buyers are seeing less.
The shopkeeper further said that people come for shopping centers but they go back to their homes without taking the shoes.
Local citizen Noor Ali Wazir said that in this era of inflation, the prices of shoes exported from Iran, China and Turkey have increased due to the suspension of business at the Angoor Adda border.
He said a huge due to which their prices have increased which common people cannot buy anymore.
Other Local citizens said that on the one hand, inflation in the country has made life miserable and on the other hand, there is a problem due to the increase in the prices of shoes and sandals imported from foreign countries.
Local citizens severely criticized the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that the provincial government has been making claims to control inflation since day one, but the practical measures are not visible in this holy month of Ramadan, the prices of shoes have gone up.
Citizens said that if the provincial government had taken timely practical measures instead of empty claims, so today the poor class would get some relief.
