The operating company of BRT Peshawar \u201cTrans-Peshawar\u201d received Rs 1 billion dues of BRT operations. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government allocated a budget of one billion rupees to run the BRT service smoothly.According to the spokesperson Trans Peshawar, the budget has been allocated for the operations of Peshawar BRT service fo November 2023 till February 2024.There is no truth to the rumors that the service is closed or limited due to lack of funds.According to Special Assistant for Transport and Housing Zafarullah Khan, \u201cZU Peshawar is currently providing travel facilities to 3 lac passengers daily, any kind of disruption or even a limited period of closure could affect the lives of Peshawar residents.\u201dHe said that the Finance Ministry ensured timely payment of funds.
