The meeting took place in Islamabad on Wednesday and focused on enhancing diplomatic and trade relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prime Minister Kakar expressed his contentment with the warm and cordial relations that exist between Pakistan and Rwanda. He conveyed Pakistan&#8217;s keen interest in strengthening its ties with African nations, particularly in sectors such as trade, investment, information technology, agriculture, and fostering people-to-people exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a significant move, Prime Minister Kakar extended an invitation for Rwanda to establish its diplomatic mission in Islamabad, demonstrating Pakistan&#8217;s commitment to deeper collaboration. It&#8217;s worth noting that Pakistan had inaugurated its mission in Kigali in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, the significance of parliamentary exchanges was underscored, with the Prime Minister appreciating the historic nature of President Kalinda Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier&#8217;s visit as the first-ever Senate President from the Republic of Rwanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Prime Minister Kakar lauded Rwanda&#8217;s impressive economic growth in recent years, acknowledging the strides made by the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Dr. Kalinda Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier expressed his gratitude for the warm reception accorded to his delegation in Islamabad.
