He said that an independent third-party audit may be conducted to ensure impartiality. Furthermore, he said that the selection of auditors be carried out through an open and competitive process by advertising in newspapers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Pakistan Medical &amp; Dental Council is a key institution,\u201d said Minister Mustafa Kamal. \u201cOur decisions and actions have a direct impact on human lives. We must always remain mindful of our accountability before God and consider public service as an act of devotion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlighting the importance of ethical medical practice, the Minister expressed concern over doctors\u2019 lack of empathy towards patients. \u201cDoctors should not only be skilled in medical expertise but also exhibit compassion and professional ethics,\u201d he stated. He stressed that professional training in medical institutions should include communication skills and patient-care ethics to enable doctors to provide both emotional and psychological support to patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Kamal also underscored the urgent need to promote digital health technology in Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of telemedicine, digital health systems, and modern technology to improve healthcare accessibility across the country. \u201cWe will bring doctors and medicines to people\u2019s doorsteps through digital healthcare solutions,\u201d he affirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To achieve this, the Minister announced the establishment of telemedicine platforms nationwide, enabling patients from remote areas to seek online medical consultations. \u201cExpanding telemedicine is the need of the hour.
