Jam Kamal Khan, and Oman\u2019s Minister for Commerce, Industry &amp; Investment Promotion, H.E. Qais Al Yousif, was held at the Ministry in Muscat to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral trade, strengthening investment ties, and promoting regional connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the discussions, H.E. Jam Kamal Khan emphasized Pakistan\u2019s industrial expertise and commercial strength, stating, \u201cOman can benefit from Pakistan\u2019s expertise, know-how, and industrial and commercial prowess to achieve the economic diversification goals set under Vision 2040 of the Sultanate.\u201d He reiterated Pakistan\u2019s commitment to fostering deeper economic cooperation with Oman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H.E. Qais Al Yousif acknowledged Pakistan\u2019s strategic significance in regional trade, highlighting that \u201chistorical ties and geographical proximity render Pakistan the most effective trade route to the Central Asian Republics (CARs).\u201d He expressed Oman\u2019s interest in strengthening its economic partnership with Pakistan and expanding trade and investment opportunities in key sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG-20250312-WA0066-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG-20250312-WA0066-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG-20250312-WA0066-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG-20250312-WA0066-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG-20250312-WA0066-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG-20250312-WA0066-2048x1366.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Both sides discussed strategies to enhance bilateral trade and investment, agreeing on the need to improve direct transportation linkages and utilize Pakistan as a trade route to CARs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pakistani delegation highlighted the potential of Gwadar and Karachi ports as vital hubs for regional trade, offering Oman greater access to emerging markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting also focused on sector-specific cooperation in textiles, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), agriculture, food security, and manufacturing. Both ministers emphasized the importance of industrial collaboration, joint ventures, and agricultural trade to ensure a sustainable supply chain. Pakistan also invited Oman to explore increased investment in its industrial and manufacturing sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senior officials from both countries attended the meeting. The Omani delegation included H.E. Saleh Said Misan, Undersecretary for Commerce and Industry; H.E. Ibtisam Ahmed Al Farougi, Undersecretary for Investment Promotion; Rashid Said A\u2019Rashdi, Advisor for International Cooperation Affairs; Khalid Ali Al Habsi, Director of International Cooperation and Trade Relations; and Suhaib Amir Al Sawafi, International Cooperation Specialist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pakistani delegation comprised Ambassador Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari, Commercial Counsellor Ishrat Hussain Bhatti, and Talha Khan, Country Manager of Pak-Oman Investment Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H.E. Jam Kamal Khan expressed his gratitude to H.E.
