Shan Foods, a global culinary brand & Recipe Mixes market leader in Pakistan & UAE has entered into an exclusive strategic partnership with Symrise in April 2023 (an industry first), a leading Global Taste Nutrition & Health player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together Shan Foods & Symrise will deliver winning and innovative Savory products for leading local and global food brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of this partnership includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–           Support for key customers with speed to market, with local manufacturing footprint;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–           Co-develop consumer-led winning concepts for high-growth categories culinary & snacks, with Symrise taste, nutrition & health expertise and;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–           Build sustainable employment opportunities, with backwards integration, local sourcing and delivery channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A significant milestone in their ongoing partnership has been achieved with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art international standard production facility in Pakistan (the first of its kind).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed with the purpose to develop, launch and commercialize transformational food products to cater to Pakistan\u2019s food industry which feeds ~250 million consumers and supports a dynamic young consumer base which is rapidly urbanising, changing key consumer behavioural trends. Convenience & authentic taste form key consumer needs. As convenience products evolve, so too does the demand for better-for-you products, ingredients with functional benefits and provenance claims, where local sourcing takes precedence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The powder blending manufacturing facility at Shan Foods Headquarters underscores the partnership\u2019s commitment to promoting locally made food solutions, reducing dependence on imported raw materials, while providing high-quality products tailored to local and global markets. The facility is now operational and the project\u2019s capacity will be scaled to meet the needs of the local market and export markets in the coming years. The setup will also create sustainable employment opportunities. The establishment of the production facility is expected to cater to the multimillion-dollar Savoury market in Pakistan, which is seeing double digit growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
