We promised that the drainage problem would be solved in 24 hours in the waterlogged areas. Spokesman Sindh Government Arslan Sheikh<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Sukkur administration, all the areas have been cleared completely. Barrister Arslan Islam Sheikh<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are sharing today’s(19th August)most recent videos of the city as there is no rainwater standing anywhere. Mayor Sukkur Barrister Arslan Sheikh<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent videos of Ghanta ghar, Bandar Road, High Court Road, Military Road, Old Sukkur, Tanga stand, and other areas, complete drainage work is visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of making videos is to inform the public and the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The way the media criticises by showing the suffering of the people, we hope that they will show our good works and efforts in the same manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We look at the criticism positively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With such criticism, the administration works more diligently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2022 rainy season, a total 12 days record rainfall of 374 mm was recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, 292 mm of downpour was recorded in just one day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is our duty to bring forward good initiatives that bring positive change in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are the areas which used to be flooded by rainwater for 20 days in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There used to be loss of lives and the properties of the citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the grace of Allah, no harm was done this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drainage work was completed in all the areas within a few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
