{"id":14936,"date":"2024-06-29T15:57:08","date_gmt":"2024-06-29T15:57:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/?p=14936"},"modified":"2024-06-29T15:57:09","modified_gmt":"2024-06-29T15:57:09","slug":"all-our-water-and-agricultural-resources-affected-due-to-heat-wave-sherry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/?p=14936","title":{"rendered":"All our water and agricultural resources affected due to heat wave, Sherry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676250701.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14937\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676250701.jpg 720w, https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676250701-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Muslim Aid Pakistan Building Resilience by Strengthening the Community (BRSC) -II Project Ends, Gathers Humanitarian Organizations Support for Future Projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Islamabad :&nbsp;Chairperson Standing Committee for Change Sheri Rehman&#8217;s Provinces are on the front lines of climate change, deaths are reported due to severe heat wave.&nbsp; All our water and agricultural resources affected due to heat wave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closing ceremony of \u201cBuilding Resilience by Strengthening Communities \u2013 II Project\u201d under the auspices of Muslim Aid Pakistan was held, where Ms.\u00a0 Sherry Rehman, Chairperson Senate Standing Committee for Climate Change, Senate of Pakistan graced the occasion as the chief guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676254042.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14938\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676254042.jpg 720w, https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676254042-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closing ceremony was attended by the senior management of Muslim Aid Pakistan, representatives of NDRMF, Asian Development Bank, NDMA, PDMAs, national\/international humanitarian organizations, philanthropists, civil society, academia, and also representatives from the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the closing ceremony, Mr. Amanullah Rind, Director of Planning PDMA Balochistan said: \u201cStrengthening communities is essential for enhancing resilience against natural disasters and calamities.\u201d He also highlighted the importance of fostering national and international collaborations to advance disaster risk reduction (DRR) in the context of Pakistan&#8217;s evolving climate change challenges.<br>While addressing the closing ceremony, Dr. Asif Iqbal \u2013 the Country Director of Muslim Aid Pakistan thanked ADB and NDRMF for their Financial contribution and appreciated the dedication of Muslim Aid workers in making the Building Resilience by Strengthening Communities \u2013 II Project successful and contributing to rebuilding and rehabilitation efforts for the people of Killa Saifullah, Loralai and Chagai in Balochistan. Dr. Asif Iqbal also highlighted the significance of national and international collaborations to promote disaster risk reduction and strengthen the resilience of Pakistan for the vulnerable areas and communities of Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676257325.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14939\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676257325.jpg 720w, https:\/\/theasiantelegraph.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/FB_IMG_1719676257325-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s noteworthy that Muslim Aid Pakistan reached 12,246 direct and 15,453 indirect beneficiaries under the project, and constructed 20 flood protection walls and 6 water reservoirs in Killa Saifullah, 7 flood protection walls and 4 water reservoirs in Chagai and 4 flood protection walls in Loralai.
