Kanwal Cheema briefs leading Pak-American IT & tech entrepreneurs about MIM<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington : \u201cWe are leveraging technology for poverty eradication, social integration and human security,\u201d said Kanwal Cheema, Founder and CEO of My Impact Meter, a digital platform that connects global donor community with the beneficiaries across Pakistan.
\u201cBy digitalizing charity, we are endeavoring to reinforce trust, ensure transparency and maximize our outreach. We are help donor community in reaching out to the poorest of the poor and extract them out of generational poverty by providing them with education, healthcare and vocational skills,\u201d she said.
Ms. Kanwal Cheema made these remarks addressing a gathering of leading Pak-American tech entrepreneurs, IT professionals and business leaders at Pakistan House, hosted by Ambassador Masood Khan, Pakistan\u2019s Ambassador to the United States.
Welcoming Ms. Kanwal Cheema to Washington DC, Ambassador Masood Khan lauded her work to synergize efforts for poverty alleviation and social integration. \u201cWith her intercontinental connections, she can be a good bridge between continents,\u201d he said.
\u201cMs. Kanwal is a social entrepreneur,\u201d he added.
\u201cWe have introduced this technology platform to create a better understanding about her work and sequel should be better networking,\u201d Ambassador said.
In his tweet, Masood Khan said that \u201cMs. Kanwal Cheema, Founder & CEO of My Impact Meter (MIM) introduced her unique platform for poverty alleviation , vocational training and social integration in Pakistan to a group of Pakistani tech entrepreneurs and business leaders. Great vehicle to harness technology to promote human security in Pakistan through collaboration with Pakistani diaspora and philanthropists. Introducing My Impact Meter (MIM) platform to the audience, Ms. Kanwal said that MIM had four pillars.
\u201cIt is a mall of NGOs. We have got about 70 NGOs from Pakistan already and we get more every day,\u201d she said.
She said that platform was ensuring complete transparency into the working of every NGO involved into the work of philanthropy and humanitarian work.
\u201cWe have introduced digital vouchers for grocery and education,\u201d she said.
She said that the platform was also facilitating beneficiaries with vocational training enabling them to earn livelihoods and break shackles of poverty.
The platform, Ms. Kanwal, said was also providing laptops and six months\u2019 grocery to the under-training beneficiaries facilitating them to devote their full attention to the skills that they were acquiring to earn their living in future.
During interactive session, Kanwal answered the queries with regards to the disbursements of funds, the privacy of the beneficiaries, and the success of the platform in helping people graduate out of poverty.
